What a great week at CMW 2012 for the Washboard Boys.
Day 1 Silver Dollar: Killer room and cool bands to play with including our new pal from Portugal Frankie Chavez here's a review of that show http://twowaymonologues.com/
Day 2 The Dakota: If there was a room built for the Union to play it was the Dakota, What a blast. Capacity crowd and a great staff. We will definitely be back. We drank Steam Whistle while Dougal got to hang out with Mansbridge just before the show. That's how he rolls
Day 3 Supermarket: The best part about 3 days at CMW is no band you are playing with sounding the least bit like you do. So many great musicians and a room with mirrors that open to double the size of the show room. A big crowd and some faces we haven't seen in a while like Jeff Woods from The Legends of Classic Rock and Steve Blair and Coady from Warner Music. Once we were off stage it was off to see Sheepdogs, Monster truck and our pals Kenton, Gord and Dan Mangan at the Horseshoe.
Day 4 Back to the Horseshoe: Zeus, Wintersleep and a great hang with our buddies the Matinee after Matt Rose played with Dallas Smith at the Cadilac Lounge.
Thanks to everyone who came out to our 3 shows and to our new pal Spencer at Radiowrangler.com for the article.
